African Centre of Excellence for Inequality Research-Ghana Node

The main focus and scope of the Western Africa node of ACEIR is to undertake key studies on inequality in Ghana. The research entails conducting rigorous analyses of the nature, patterns and dynamics of inequality and poverty in Ghana using existing census and panel survey data.

Data Repository and Advocacy for Policy (DARAP)

The Data Repository and Advocacy for Policy (DARAP) project is focused on promoting the access and effective use of data and knowledge products to influence policymaking processes and outcomes. It contributes to evidence-led policymaking through data management services and capacity building in the use and interpretation of research data, working in collaboration with civil society organisations and academics. DARAP is funded by the Open Society Economic Justice Program and based at the Measurement, Learning, and Evaluation (MLE) Unit at the Institute of Statistical Social and Economic Research (ISSER), University of Ghana.

The Retail Finance Distribution

The Retail Finance Distribution is a research initiative that focuses on deepening digital financial inclusion for women, poor households, SMEs, and other retail businesses in low and middle-income countries (LMICs).
